Hello friends. My name is Heidi and I hope that my forever family is reading this.
I came from a pound in Southern Alberta. Nobody came to claim me, I waited and watched while other dogs came and went. Until Misty Creek took me in and told me they'd find me a home where I will be loved forever.
I don't know why people weren't interested in me. I'm a very beautiful, gentle lady. I can be a little timid and head shy with people I don't know - but I will come forward once I realize they have treats and pets for me. I've been described as an old soul - I would love nothing more than to live in a quiet home with someone to spend time with. I'm a medium sized girl, about 50 lbs and Misty Creek thinks I'm around six years old. I've outgrown the troublesome puppy stage but I have a long life left ahead of me to enjoy with you.
I love my walks and I do wonderful on my leash walks. I also really enjoy hanging out in the backyard - I even have my very own dog house.
I get along with other dogs, but I'd like it best to either be the only dog in my forever home or to be with another dog that has the same laid back demeanour as I do.
